Eternal Wasteland is an Anarchy Minecraft server with a map that was created March 10, 2020 by the Full Anarchy server. In September of 2022, Full Anarchy decided to reset their 2.5 year old map and that is when Eternal Wasteland began the arduous task of downloading an almost 1.9TB map so that they could continue the legacy.

The physical map size, as of January 2026, is 2.1TB. Once the update to 1.21.11 happens, we will be installing a chunk limiter plug-in that will purge any untouched chunks that have been generated to disk, hopefully mitigating the total size of the map. Keep your eyes on the news for updates to the map size.
